Comms Coordinator

PeaceGeneration Indonesia is a social enterprise engaged in learning media, training, and peace education campaigns. Since 2007, PeaceGen has been actively working with various donors and strategic partners in promoting peace in Indonesia. Currently, we have several projects that focus on capacity building for socio-emotional learning using the 12 Basic Values of Peace approacH.
The 12 Basic Value of Peace consists of:
(1) Accepting Our Self (2) No Suspicious No Prejudice (3) Ethnic Diversity (4) Religion Differences (5) Gender Differences (6) Social Status Differences (7) Group Differences (8) Celebrating Diversity (9) Understanding Conflict (10) Reject Violence (11) Admit Mistake (12) Apologize.
We are currently looking for a Comms Coordinator who will help strengthen our digital communications, partnerships, and technology team. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Executive Director (ED) and appointed consultants. The Comms Coordinator will also work with multiple divisions within the organization.
The selected candidate will lead all PeaceGeneration Indonesia communications products.
REQUIREMENTS
-
A minimum 5-year work experience in managing projects and communication in NGO/INGO/Government/Communication Agency

A minimum of two years working on a leading team with various positions and backgrounds

Preferred having Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, ICT for Development, Development Studies, Psychology, Communications, Community Development

Proficient in written and oral English skills

Willing to work in Bandung

Translate and manage organizational strategy regarding communications, partnerships, and technology

Responsible for all PeaceGeneration Indonesia communications projects

Lead and provide direction for the team in managing communication and technology products

Manage strategic relationships with partners and donors

Supervise the quality of communication and technology products produced by PeaceGeneration and consultants
